I have Ocean's permission to restart it. But it will have a new setting and a new plot. Also, I'm starting a new thread in case Ocean will decide to continue her version of the game.

This game is a simple rp game, meant to be mostly free flowing with an overall arch. Make a character with the Template found below. Other players will be allowed in at a later time, usually once a week any new people who wish to join in will be allowed to do so.

Game Setting and Concept: You are a person who has lived an every day average life in the modern day world. To be fair, "average" depends on where you come from (obviously your average American is very different from your average Somolian).

But then all of a sudden you are abducted! By someone... or something; probably in your sleep. Whenever or wherever you were kidnapped, you do not remember at the moment who did it or why.

Rules and Other Notes: Typically once a day the GM of this game (or an assistant GM if any are appointed at a later time) will write up a summary of what's happened in the day. One day is on average one twenty four hour period of time, however the GM may wait if more actions are needed or speed up time if necessary. The GM does not have to write up a summary if they don't feel like it.

Any complaints should be PMed to the GM, who can feel free to ignore it if necessary. If you complain in the thread, people will think you are saying that out loud in character. Any out of character actions should be kept to spoilers (or made obvious using other forms). The GM has the right to kill your character when they feel like it, if they feel like it. Though if you use your head that likely won't happen. ( :thatface: ) Inactive characters will die tragic deaths (with exceptions). You are always welcome to make another character if yours dies, unless the GM blacklists you (it would take a lot to do that).

Players may role-play as much as they want (within reason) that they are capable of doing in a 24 hour period, though they will be penalized for every day they do not sleep (if I remember). Any combat or violent actions must be permitted by the GM first, and players may attempt things and wait to see what happens (like kicking a cube to see if a wall will break open.) Players may do their actions from the main thread or in PM to the GM.

Players can do anything they please within human reason, but please remember this game is in the main section, anything "adult" in nature should be put in a spoiler box or just mentioned in absolute simplicity. You must also have the permission of other players before using thier character in any sort of fashion. There are going to be Non-player characters around as well, depending on your outcomes they may help or hinder you in what you choose to do. Stick to the rules of the forum, people.

Purpose: Have fun, use your brain, and don't piss me off find out. :D

Idea: Players take on roles and powers based on the classic characters from Lewis Carol’s Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking glass in order to find Alice or the Jabberwocky.

Rules:

1. No vulgarity or sexual themes in posts, results, or roles.

2. In addition to their Official role, the GM may assign players the role of either Alice or the Jabberwocky. Note: The Queen of Hearts can have the role of Alice if the GM or RNG decides.

3. Alice and the Jabberwocky can not be played by the same player.

4. Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum can not be either Alice or the Jabberwocky.

5. All players vote each day to see if they can find Alice or the Jabberwocky.

6. The Game ends when either Alice or the Jabberwocky are found.

7. Game shall be divided into turns. Depending on if the white rabbit is in play, turns can last more or less than 24 hours.

8. All roles are to remain hidden until the player has become a playing card.

9. Dead players do not become ghosts, they become playing cards. Playing cards lose all powers of the role they held before being voted out. Playing cards may still vote.

10. Successor rule: If Alice or the Jabberwocky are found before 1/3 of wonderland has become cards, Alice II and/or Jabberwocky II come into play. Note: 1/3 of wonderland has to have become playing card at least 1 turn prior to deactivate the successor rule. Successor do not happen if there are 10 or less players.

11. Recoil must last at least 48 hours between rounds.

Roles:

Alice: Confused little girl that wandered into wonderland and is trying to find her way home, again. Can be any role except Tweedle-Dee, Tweedle-Dum, and the Jabberwocky. If the players find Alice she gets sucked into the mirror imprisoned forever.

Jabberwocky: The sum of all fears born in the mind of Alice. Can be any role except Tweedle-Dee, Tweedle-Dum, and Alice. If the players find the Jabberwocky they destroy Alice’s fears allowing her to go home where she belongs.

Tweedle-Dee: the voice of reason and the Alice detective: Once every other turn Tweedle-Dee can look for Alice by PMing the GM the name of one player they think is Alice. The GM PMs back whether Tweedle-Dee is correct or not.

Tweedle-Dum: The Other voice of reason the Jabberwocky detective: Once every other turn Tweedle-Dum can look for the Jabberwocky by PMing the GM the name of one player they think is the Jabberwocky. The GM PMs back whether Tweedle-Dum is correct or not.

Queen of Hearts: It’s the queen’s way or off with your head: 3 times in a round the queen can either post in thread or PM the GM that they would like to redirect Half the town’s votes to her player of choice.

The White Rabbit: I’m late, I’m late for a very important date: Normal turns last 24 hours, however, the White Rabbit can PM the GM to either speed up or lengthen the turn by 2 hours. These changes can remain in place for the remainder of the round. The White Rabbit can speed up or lengthen the turns up to 3 times per round. The White Rabbit can only change the length of one turn at a time. When the White Rabbit changes the length of a turn the change is publicly announced, on thread.

The Mad Hatter: clean cup, clean cup, everybody move down: Role Shuffle, once per round, the Mad Hatter can PM the GM to shuffle everyone’s roles. Basically, if you had a role before you may have a different one now. The Mad Hatter ability can only be used once per round, even if a new player gets the role because of the Role Shuffle. The Players Playing Tweedle-dee, and Tweedle-dum still retain their roles. Alice and the Jabberwocky only get their secondary roles shuffled. Playing cards do NOT get their roles shuffled.

Knave of Hearts: The Knave of hearts he stole the Tarts: Identity Thief, once per round the Knave of Hearts assumes the role of another player and all the powers there in. If role shuffled by the Mad Hatter’s effect, The Knave of Hearts can lose his main role as well as the identity he stole.

Caterpillar: Curiouser and Curiouser: Every other turn the caterpillar get a hint as to one player that is NOT the Jabberwocky or Alice. When the Caterpillar receives a hint the must send the GM back a riddle to be posted on thread regarding the hint they received. The riddle, can not reference the person’s Name or Avatar in the Hint given. Because Hints are decided via RNG, the same hint may be given over and over. If the Caterpillar does not pick which hints he’s like to receive and/or does not send back a riddle to be displayed on thread they will become a butterfly and receive no more hints for the remainder of the round. The Caterpiller's riddle is posted on thread, the Hint is sent via PM.

The Mock Turtle: We called him tortoise because he taught us! Once every other turn the Mock Turtle sends a PM to the GM one person they think is either Alice or the Jabberwocky. The GM does not answer the PM with a yes or a no. If the guess is correct, a clue is given in the results as to the identity the secret role NOT chosen in the Mock Turtle’s PM. If the guess is incorrect, a clue is given in the results as to the identity of the secret role chosen in the Mock Turtle’s PM. For example: If the Mock Turtle wanted to guess the identity of Alice, if he was correct a clue about the identity of the Jabberwocky would appear in the turn’s results. If the Mock turtle was incorrect a clue about the identity of Alice would appear in the turn’s results.

The Cheshire Cat: He grins like a Cheshire cat; said of any one who shows his teeth and gums in laughing. The Cheshire Cat grins and grins and votes and votes. If the Cheshire Cat dies by the wonderland vote, people that voted for him lose their powers and vote for 1 turn.

The March Hare: Mad as a march Hare: The March hare must publicly vote for itself on the game thread. This thread vote is NOT counted in the official wonderland vote. The March hare can PM a vote to the GM. The PM’d vote is the only vote to be counted from the March Hare.

The Cook: MORE PEPPER!!! The cook can add pepper to each turn’s results, by adding one line.

The Duchess: My Baby, my Baby: 3 times per round the Duchess can give her baby to another player for one turn. The Player that receives the Duchess' Baby, control the Duchess' vote, for that turn.

The Flowers: wonderland townspeople: The flowers have no other powers except to vote each turn.

As most of you are aware, JesusRocks and Kanga were married on the twelfth day of May in the year 2012. Their day, I’m sure, went as perfectly as could be expected. It was a fairy tale event that was meant to lead to happily ever after. It was, indeed, a glorious wedding. JR was nervous and fidgety, waiting at the alter for Kanga, his vision in white, to appear. She was led to the altar by her father. Her mother was seated in the gallery, weeping silently into a handkerchief. The two recited the vows that would bind them together for the rest of their eternal lives. With the holy sacred kiss they sealed the joining of their two families. A wondrous celebration was had by all, completely unaware of the tragic loss that would occur later that evening. It is deeply regrettable that this loss should mar such a joyous time in the lives of these two young people.

It is with heavy heart that we are here on this auspicious day, for we mourn the death of JesusRocks’ virginity. It managed to survive 23 years, before it was sadly slain on the night of their wedding by Kanga. I ask that none of you judge neither Kanga nor JR harshly. JR was not fully conscious of her actions. JR and Kanga were simply two newlyweds in love and enjoying their mutual and somewhat consensual closeness. I ask you not to weep over the loss of JR’s virginity; it lived a long and happy life before being abruptly slaughtered. JesusRocks could not be found for comment. However, Kanga reports that when last seen, he was attired in only a contented smile.
